BARBECUED PULLED PORK SANDWICHES
Ingredients:
1 (2 ½ pounds) Port should roast
1 bottle (14 ounces) barbecue sauce
1 tbs fresh lemon juice
1 tsp brown sugar
1 medium onion, chopped
8 hamburger buns or hard rolls

COOK TIME:  10 to 12 hours (low) or 5 to 6 hours (high)

1. Place the pork roast from in a 4 ½ quart crockpot.  Cover; cook on low 10-12 hours on low or on high 5-6
hours.
2. Remove the pork roast from the stoneware.  Shred the pork with 2 forks.  Discard any liquid in the
stoneware.  Return the pork to the stoneware; add the barbecue sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar and onion.  
Cook on high 1 hours or on low 2 hours.
3. Serve on hamburger buns or hard rolls.

NOTE:  this kid-popular dish is sweet and savory, and most importantly, extremely easy to make.  Serve with
crunchy coleslaw on the side.

Makes 8 servings
CAROLYNE'S CHICKEN & RICE
Tablespoon olive oil                     peppers & onions
Cut chicken into cubes                  1 can stewed tomatoes
2 cups pre-cooked (cooked in broth) rice   3 tbs tiger sause

Cook chicken in pan with oil for about 6 minutes.  Take chicken out of pan (keep it warm though).  Sautee
peppers & onions for about five minutes.  Add rice to peppers and onions, cook 1 minute.

Put everything in one big pot.  Add 1 can stewed tomatoes, 2 cups chicken broth, and 3 tbs tiger sauce.  
Cook 20 minutes
SESAME PORK STRIPS
Heat oven to 425º

1 TABLESPOON BUTTER, MELTED
1 POUND PORK BONELESS TOP LOIN   (I also use pork chops instead of strips)
1 1/4 BISQUICK BAKING MIX
¼ CUP SESAME SEED
1 TSP SALT
1 TSP PAPRIKA
2 EGGS
2 TABLESPOONS MILK
2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER, MELTED

SPREAD 1 tablespoon melted butter in rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches.  Trim excess fat from pork; cut pork
into ¼-inch slices.  Cut slices into strips ¼-inch wide.
MIX baking mix, sesame seed, salt, and paprika.  Beat eggs and milk with fork.  Dip pork strips into egg
mixture; coat with sesame seed mixture.  Place pork strips in single layer in pan.  Drizzle 2 tablespoons melted
butter over pork.
BAKE uncovered 30-35 minutes or until brown and crisp.
